Good morning folks! The trend among the models continue to show a return to a pattern that will support scattered to widespread showers and thunderstorms, with rain chances and coverage picking up Sunday, peaking sometime Tues - Thur of next week. Warm, Dry, and Boring through Wednesday
Good morning folks! No substantial or regionwide rain event is on the horizon over the next 4 - 6 days, with our only rain chances occurring Thursday and Friday along the escarpment and even then, shower coverage will be isolated and intensities light. First Freeze on Mt LeConte; Sunny thru Wed
Good morning folks! We have several reports of frost across the region and although the reports are extremely isolated, today marks the first day for frost in the region, with no widespread frost or freeze expected over the next 7 days. Good morning folks! The past several days have brought some healthy rain totals to the region, with the Highlands Plateau and the NW corner of Transylvania county above 3.5" since Sunday morning. The highest total is out of the Panthertown - Tanasee Lake area in Jackson County, where 4.65" has fallen at the Rock Bridge rain gauge since Sunday morning.
