By Monday or Tuesday we could see a slight dip in shower activity as the high pressure to our east begins to breakdown, however the models show a possible/weak tropical system that could influence the region Tues/Wed, pushing shower coverage even higher. Elsa is moving out of the Carolinas as we type this discussion midday on Thursday and as westerly flow sets up in its it wake later this evening, scattered shower chances will linger into the early morning hours on Friday; favoring the TN line. A break in the action occurs Friday morning but this will be short lived as a front approaches from the west, sparking another round of showers between 12 - 4pm. Good morning folks! The bulk of the rain is off to our east but showers will continue to pepper the region through the early afternoon hours as the front swings through the region. Dry air and cooler temps will take over Friday night and carry over into Saturday, setting the stage for a picture perfect Independence Day weekend, with sunny skies, low dewpoints, and slightly below normal temps Saturday into Monday. Moisture levels begin to increase Monday, but we should be able
