We are now expecting roughly 0.30 - 0.70" of rain to fall across the region, which is roughly a reduction of a half inch across the board from our previous discussion on Tuesday. Good morning folks! Warmer temps reign supreme through at least Thursday and then things cool down on Friday as a front crosses the region early in the day. A slightly cooler but still comfortable weekend lies ahead, with sunshine taking over as the front exits the region on Friday. The sun has returned for most of the region, however Haywood County in particular is being stubborn with mostly cloudy skies still overhead as of 11am; this will soon give way to full sunshine. Sunny skies return today and linger through a portion of Wednesday, with our next chance for rain returning Thursday into Friday. Speaking of rain, we picked up 0.55 - 1.61" yesterday across the region, with Hogback in southern Jackson taking home the top spot at 1.
