NW Flow Snow Monday; COLD Tuesday
Good afternoon folks! The NW flow event is underway with snow falling above 3000' as of the early afternoon hours on Monday. We'll continue to see snow levels drop into the valleys this afternoon and coverage and intensities will peak this evening, taking most of the night to gradually scale back to the TN line. Rain to Snow Sunday - Monday; COLD Tuesday
Good morning folks! Everything is still a go for the moderate rain event Sunday evening, followed by a transition to a NW flow snow event Monday into Tuesday morning that will favor the usual suspects directly along the TN line and nearby NW facing ridgelines. Deep cold will pour into the region as NW flow gets underway, setting up a very cold day on Tuesday with temps running 15 - 18 degrees below normal for early December (even with sunshine overhead)! Sunny Friday & Saturday; Snow Monday?
Good evening folks! Things are beginning to take shape for early next week among the models, although a split does exist but the end result should roughly be the same. We'll enjoy another day of sunshine Friday and Saturday, which is a slight change from the previous discussion but all eyes remain focused on the Sunday - Monday timeframe as the chance remains for heavy rain Sunday evening, followed by backside NW flow snow Monday morning into Tuesday morning. Heavy Rain Wed Night; Turning Sunny Thursday
Good morning folks! We're in for another chilly day with temps running 4 - 6 degrees cooler than normal for late November, but at least we'll have the sunshine to help fight off the cooler temps. A front approaches the region this evening and we'll notice an uptick in southerly flow later today as high clouds begin to infiltrate into the area closer to sunset. Wet Snow Tonight above 5500'; Chilly Monday
Good morning folks! Clouds will thicken as the day moves along and spotty showers will sweep the area this evening, exiting early Monday morning. NW flow sets up Monday morning and ushers in sunny skies and below normal temps with afternoon highs running 3 - 6 degrees below normal Monday through Wednesday.
