Wet Weather Settles in Saturday
Good afternoon folks! The models are starting to come around in regards to Delta's eventual track after it makes landfall along the Gulf Coast Friday. It looks like our region will be spared the heaviest of the rain as Delta's remnants are forecasted to track west of the mountains, but we'll still pick up a decent amount as southeasterly flow keep moisture pumping into SW NC. Upper 70's by Mid Week! Rain this Wknd?
Good afternoon folks! I apologize for not posting on Sunday. We hung out in the woods longer than expected and did not arrive home till after dark. The start of the week is just about over so we'll focus on our attention on Tuesday into the weekend, with confidence dropping off somewhere around Friday or Saturday. Overall, we'll experience a warming trend this week as temps climb to the upper 70's by Wednesday, eventually cooling down to near normal levels by the weekend as r

Frost Saturday Morning; A Beautiful Weekend
Good afternoon folks! The front is passing through the region as of Thursday late afternoon and we'll notice temps begin to drop into the 30's overnight for the higher elevations but frost should hold off with NW winds around 10 - 15mph. Friday brings us a chilly end to the work and school week with temps in the upper 40's - low 60's across the area under mostly sunny skies. Our best chance for frost occurs Friday night and as of today it looks like the valleys will sneak by
