Forecast is still on track for the weekend and early next week as we expect a reduction in shower activity beginning Saturday that will linger into Monday, with temps climbing a few degrees above normal by Sunday. Scattered Storms Thursday & Friday
Good afternoon folks! The forecast has changed slightly from our previous discussion with an uptick in shower activity Thursday and Friday, however the weekend and beyond will remain the same as we still expect more sun than clouds alongside isolated thunderstorms. Temps will be reasonable for early August as they hold to the low 80's Thursday and level out to the mid 80's Friday through Monday/Tuesday. A Slow Decline in Shower Coverage

The main event is underway as Tropical Storm Isaias continues to move toward the SC/NC line border along the coast, aiming for a late evening landfall, possibly as a category 1 hurricane. As of late Saturday afternoon it looks like Hurricane Isaias will not strengthen much further and the forecast track by the NHC shows it hugging the eastern coastline till roughly the SC/NC line, arriving late Monday, exiting during the day Tuesday.
