Local Yokel Weather

Formed in July 2007, we installed our first station in Downtown Sylva.

Our goals are simple. Expand data collection and drum up enthusiasm about the

unique weather found here in SW NC.

We always encourage our readers to follow and engage with other weather sources,

in particular the National Weather Service out of GSP during life threatening events.
